Remote Learning

In March 2020 and January 2021 we were well equipped to roll out remote learning for our students at relatively short notice and were able to ensure that we had provision in place for a full programme of effective remote teaching and learning. Face to face teacher led lessons were delivered remotely via live video, aided by online textbooks which teachers could monitor in real time.

Pupils received training in how to use the remote technology and were each provided with a full timetable to keep them engaged, focused and motivated throughout the lockdown period.

The feedback from our remote learning programme has been overwhelmingly positive and we feel secure knowing that Saint Nicholas School pupils have been able to keep up their studies throughout this unprecedented time and now find themselves in an advantageous position, with more time to prepare for their final examinations in June.

In the event of further lockdowns reoccurring, we are ready to make the immediate switch back to remote teaching and are confident of a smooth transition, ensuring no impact on their Saint Nicholas School education.
