Teacher of English (With Classics) MPS/UPS
Required April 2024 (or before)
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding and enthusiastic Teacher of English (with Classics) to join our well-resourced and successful English department. The successful applicant will be required to teach from Year 6 to Year 11 from April 2024 (Summer Term). The ability to also teach Classics (ancient Greek and Latin literature, philosophy, and history) would be an advantage. Please see the job description below for further details.

The successful applicant will be joining a friendly, hard working school with a clear commitment to high achievement for all its pupils. Classes have a maximum of twenty two pupils. You will be a passionate English teacher who displays professionalism, energy and commitment. Non-contact time is generous to enable the successful applicant to fulfill this role to the highest standards.

Learning Support Assistant (Lower School) Required January 2024
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Learning Support Assistant with an appropriate SEND qualification, to join our supportive and successful SEND team, providing support for individuals and groups of pupils. The position will support pupils in the Lower School (Years 1-5) but a willingness and ability to engage with pupils across the whole school age range will be required. In addition, EYFS experience (or willingness to undertake EYFS training), would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have previous experience LSA experience with relevant qualifications and be capable of establishing productive working relationships with pupils, acting as a role model and setting high expectations. They will have proven success working as part of an effective team and demonstrate the ability to show initiative. Please see job description below for full details.
The role is permanent, term time only, 37.5 hours per week including lunch break, 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Annual salary for the position is dependent on qualification level: £16,181 to £16,776 (NA14 to NA18). Start date 03/01/2024.

Nursery Practitioner Required – immediate start
The Rocking Horse Nursery is offering an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and professional Level 3 qualified practitioner to join our friendly and experienced team. The nursery provides care for children from 3 months of age, 51 weeks of the year. The setting consists of fully equipped individual rooms for each age range, a large dedicated outside space as well as the use of the beautiful school grounds and access to the petting animals on site.
The role is permanent, full-time, all year round from April 2023. The successful candidate will work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm , Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. For fully qualified practitioners, salary would be £25,567 pa, equivalent to £12.29 per hour. Other salary levels available based on qualification level.
