Saint Nicholas is a happy school. Pupils of all ages quickly develop confidence, respect and social responsibility, as a reflection of the caring community that prevails in all aspects of school life. The school is small enough for everyone to feel they have a part to play, yet large enough to allow the full range of academic subjects and educational opportunities.
Parents are actively encouraged to become involved in the life of the school, and to attend all school functions throughout the year. At Saint Nicholas, we feel a child’s education is only complete when it is shared between school and home.
There is no doubt that the school is fortunate to have dedicated staff who work together to improve the performance, facilities and reputation of the school for the benefit of its pupils. Saint Nicholas is an independent school that thrives on the commitment and dedication of everyone associated with it. We invite you and your children to join us.
Registration of children for entry at 4 years of age may be undertaken at any time following the birth of the child. Early registration is recommended in order to avoid disappointment. If all places have been filled in a particular age group, parents may choose to join the waiting list for the year group. Registration is a simple process of completing and returning the registration form to the school, together with the appropriate registration fee of £100 which is non-returnable.
Pupils of school age may be registered at any time but it must be appreciated that assessments, interviews and previous school reports will be taken into consideration.
We will always be pleased to discuss availability of places at the school. In this respect, please do not hesitate to write to the school, e-mail, or telephone, in order to gain further information or to make an appointment to discuss matters specific to your son or daughter.
Our next on site Open Day is Saturday 14th October but in the meantime, please also feel free to visit our Virtual Open Day page to find out more information and to hear from various members of staff.
Please contact Mrs Julie Bradley, Admissions Secretary, on 01279 429910 or by emailing email@example.com if you have any queries regarding admission to the school.
