Last month a group of Year 9 girls worked together to organise a lower school talent show to raise money for Grove Cottage. Grove Cottage was established to provide adults and children of all ages with social and educational activities, in the hope of avoiding social isolation.
The show was a huge success, with over twenty performances varying from singing to scooter skills and while judging was very difficult, first prize went to Sophie (Year 3) for her amazing solo performance, second prize went to Charlie (Year 4) for his highly imaginative observational limericks on members of staff and third prize went to Ellis (Year 2) for his brilliant drumming. A special mention also goes to the Rainbow Rockets who showed us that they are the ones to watch as they entertained everyone with their fantastic song and dance performance.
Well done to the Year 9 girls who organised the competition – Poppy, Freya, Rosie and Georgia, and to everyone that took part.
