Lee Valley Park Trip

Last week Year 3 pupils went to Lee Valley Park to support their new topic, ‘Flow’, which is about rivers.

Despite the cold weather, they had a great time exploring the different features of the River Lea. They measured the flow of the river and identified lots of different types of wildlife. The children even got to sit in the bird hide and watch the herons, cormorants and great crested grebes. Finally, they used natural materials to create a piece of artwork to represent the river. A great time was had by all.
