Multi-Cultural Dance Festival

Seven schools attended Harlow Schools Sports Partnership’s first ever Multicultural Dance Festival hosted by Saint Nicholas School in the theatre last Friday. The Saint Nicholas children all looked fantastic in their Chinese costumes which were made by Mrs Fitch. Nine Year 4 girls performed a Chinese ribbon dance and Desmond from Year 3 read a story in Cantonese. The children all worked really hard to prepare for this event, showing their commitment by even missing their play times to rehearse.

Well done to all involved and a special thank you Mrs Hayman who gave up lots of time and effort to make the event run smoothly. Thank you also to the parents who helped Mrs Fitch with costumes, hair styling, decorating the foyer and preparing Chinese snacks for the event. It was a lovely afternoon which we hope to repeat annually.
