Staff and pupils are celebrating after receiving the top rating in a recent school inspection, carried out by the Independent School Inspectorate (ISI).
The result of the inspection which was carried out on the 6th and 7th December last year, has been formally shared with the school and the full report has happily been shared with parents and staff who are all delighted with the result.
Unlike previous inspections, where inspectors are permitted to use words such as ‘exceptional’ or ‘outstanding’, the highest possible rating under this particular inspection framework is ‘fully compliant’ which the school is delighted to have achieved.
Across eight discrete areas, covering aspects such as quality of education provided, pupil welfare, health and safety and the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of pupils the school was judged to be fully compliant in all areas.
Furthermore, on leaving the school after the two days, the inspectors were keen to stress how much they had enjoyed their time at the school and complimented the pupils who Mr Bown has said were a credit to the school throughout the process.
He adds; “I am enormously grateful to all my colleagues for the consistently high standards they set and to the pupils for the part they played in making this such a successful inspection. I must also thank the, more than, two hundred parents who responded to the questionnaires and whose feedback reinforced the judgements made by the inspectors. It is a fantastic vote of confidence in the school.”
