Year 1 and 3 pupils had a great time in their rocks and fossils workshop with Fossils Galore last week. They learnt so much about how fossils are formed, the different types of rocks and interesting facts about dinosaurs including their size, their diet and where they lived. The children also got to try their hand at excavating dinosaur bones and discovered some artefacts that were over 400 million years old! They weren’t so keen on handling the dinosaur fossil poop though!
It seems we have some fantastic budding paleontologists in our midst.
