Learning Made Fun
Built For Discovery

Building on the bright start pupils have made in Pre-School, we continue to place great value on learning which is fun and engaging but which also ensures challenge and a breadth of opportunity from an early age.

EYFS Curriculum

Our Reception children follow the EYFS Curriculum, which is a continuation of the learning journey they have been on in the Pre-School. The Reception teachers are supported by a number of specialist teachers who deliver physical education, music, drama and French and the children also enjoy the use of the sports hall, theatre and the extensive grounds.

Forest School

We also have a thriving Forest School which is hugely popular with our Reception pupils. Whether it is jumping in puddles, making mud pies, creating pieces of art with nature or bug hunting, outdoor learning helps develop many key skills, including problem solving, patience, resilience, independence, team work and confidence.
